Visiting K-pop Agency Buildings in Seoul — HYBE, SM, JYP and YG

Last checked: October 5, 2026

Standing outside your favourite group's agency is a classic part of a K-pop trip. It's a quick photo stop rather than an attraction, so the trick is to pair it with the neighbourhood around it.

Where the big four are

Agency Neighbourhood Pair it with
HYBE Yongsan Yongsan station shopping, a walk along the Han River
SM Entertainment Seongsu Seongsu's pop-up stores and cafes
JYP Entertainment Gangdong A KSPO Dome / Olympic Park concert day
YG Entertainment Hapjeong (Mapo) Hongdae birthday cafes and busking

Agencies move offices from time to time. Before you go, check the agency's official website for its current address — and open it in Naver Map or KakaoMap rather than Google Maps.

What you can (and can't) see

  • These are offices. You can photograph the building from the street, but the lobby and floors are not open to visitors.
  • Some agencies run separate fan spaces — official stores, exhibitions or cafes — that are open to the public. These change often, so check official announcements for what's open during your dates.
  • You're unlikely to see artists, and waiting for them isn't welcome (see below).

Etiquette that matters

Agency staff and neighbours put up with a lot of visitors. Keeping these spots fan-friendly is up to all of us:

  • Take your photos and move on — don't block the entrance or the pavement.
  • Don't wait for artists at the building, their homes or the airport. In Korea this is strongly associated with sasaeng (stalker) behaviour, and it can get fan spaces closed.
  • Don't leave gifts or letters at the door unless the agency announces an official way to send them.
  • Keep the noise down; these are working streets.

Make it a half-day

Agency visits take 15–30 minutes. Our trip planner groups each agency with the other fan spots in the same neighbourhood, so a stop at HYBE or SM becomes a proper half-day out instead of a long detour.
