Everything a ARMY needs for a BTS trip to Seoul: 5 places to visit, upcoming events, member birthdays and the etiquette that keeps fan spots welcoming.

Plan this group's Seoul visit

Build a BTS day around a documented filming location, then add one nearby stop. Seoul's official BTS map connects the National Museum of Korea and Oil Tank Culture Park to past content; VISITKOREA documents the 2020 palace performance. Those historical credits do not mean a BTS installation, performance or member visit is happening now.

How to split your days

For a Yongsan half-day, reserve roughly two hours for the museum and treat HYBE's exterior as an optional short stop reached by public transport. Put Gyeongbokgung on a separate central-Seoul day and Oil Tank Culture Park on a Mapo day. These are planning estimates, not a checked walking route. The park's tank interiors are not continuously open, so an indoor-photo plan needs a separately confirmed program.

What to check before booking

The September–October DALMAJUNG pop-up is a completed event, not permanent HYBE access. Book only against a new dated official notice. For K-Star Road, use the district's BTS GangnamDol information rather than expecting every group's statue or using old agency maps. A general dance or music-show package does not include a BTS appearance.

  1. 1

    Yongsan

    National Museum of Korea

    137 Seobinggo-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul ↗
    Getting there
Ichon Station, Line 4 or Gyeongui–Jungang; Exit 2 / Museum Nadeulgil passage. Use the museum's accessibility directions for lifts.
    Opening and closures
Check the museum's current visitor notice for gallery hours and temporary closures; passage opening hours are not gallery hours.
    Admission and costs
Check the selected exhibition's admission terms. Special exhibitions and the Children's Museum have separate arrangements.
    Visit limits
The BTS connection is a past filming credit, not a standing BTS exhibition or current appearance. Allow time to explore the museum itself.

💬 FAQ

Q. Can I go inside the agency building?⌄

Most agency buildings are offices and closed to the public. Take photos from outside; some agencies run separate stores or exhibitions — check their official pages.

Q. When are birthday cafes open?⌄

Usually a few days before and after the birthday. Exact dates are announced by fan hosts on X or Instagram, often only 1–2 weeks ahead.

Q. Can I see the group on a music show?⌄

Check the artist notice and the seller’s date-specific package. A visitor package does not guarantee your group’s appearance, a seat type or fan-club pre-recording access.
